Day trip Lake Nakuru national park takes you to the Kenya’s number one home to several species of birds the dominant ones being flamingoes and pelicans.
0630hrs pick up from your Nairobi hotel and for Lake Nakuru, driving along the scenic landscapes of the Eastern Rift Valley system that passes through Kenya. The Rift rolls from Syria in the Middle East to Mozambique in Southern Africa. On your way to Nakuru you will stop briefly at the View point for you to view the Great Rift Valley from a high point.
You will arrive at the park approximately 0900hrs for a 2 hour game viewing drive. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape here comprising of the Lake itself and the moderate hills surrounding it. This will be complimented by the fascinating views of thousands and thousands of flamingoes and pelican birds feeding along the shoreline of the lake, the park is estimated to have about 1.5 million flamingoes and over 300 other bird species.

The Park is also rich in wildlife ranging from white and black rhinos, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, lions, cheetah, leopard, monkeys, hyenas, water buck, eland and many others.
